This project was developed as a class concept and is entirely fictional. It does not represent any existing production.

This stage reimagines the dreamlike world of Heaven or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins. Inspired by the album's ethereal sound and surreal emotions, I wanted to explore the relationship between humans and artifacts. It asks whether people are becoming part of the artificial worlds they create, where reality and fantasy are difficult to separate.

The Concept

The concept is inspired by surrealism and dreamlike memories. Giant flowers far beyond human scale, making the performers appear small inside an unreal landscape. Like Heaven or Las Vegas, I wanted the space to feel nostalgic, emotional, and mysterious, inviting the audience into a dream where nature and artificiality exist together.

The Space

The audience enters a glowing dream world. A large LED screen creates endless cityscapes and abstract landscapes that shift throughout the performance. Vibrant concert lighting changes the mood from soft and heavenly to energetic and electric. Oversized pastel-fluorescent flowers surround the stage, blurring the line between a natural garden and an artificial fantasy.

The Execution

The project includes detailed Vectorworks drawings, 3D renderings, and a promotional video mockup that demonstrates the stage experience, lighting, and audience perspective.
